Workshops

WAA provides FREE education and training to the community about relationship violence issues and resources. All workshops are available in both English and Spanish. You can schedule the following types of training for your group or organization:

Domestic Violence 101

The Domestic Violence 101 (DV 101) Workshop covers the following topics:

Teen Dating Violence (for Teens)

The Teen Dating Violence Workshop for Teens covers the following topics:

This workshop is appropriate for high school and college students, and youth/teens in general.

Teen Dating Violence (for Adults)

The Teen Dating Violence Workshop for Adults covers the following topics:

This workshop is appropriate for parents, and for teachers and adults who work with teens.

This workshop is appropriate for parents, and for teachers and adults who work with children.

All trainings are designed for groups of 10 to 20 participants and last approximately two hours. Please keep in mind that in order to provide quality service, we need to receive your training request at least two weeks in advance, and to know the exact size of the group.

If you are interested in scheduling a training on a specific topic and do not see it listed, WAA will try to accommodate your needs.
